The US Ambassador Karen B. Stewart visited the CMI EBEYE Center on Monday 12th November 2018 to officiate at the opening and handing over ceremony of library resources to establish an ‘American Reading Corner’.
To celebrate and support PSS Education Week’s theme of “Kobobo ilo Bojam: shaping our future through education,” the College of the Marshall Islands (CMI) in collaboration with the Marshall Islands Library Association (MILA) conducted a successful workshop for RMI librarians on Wednesday, February 13th, 2019. The theme of the workshop was “Mapping career pathways and training opportunities for RMI Librarians.”
The College of Marshall Islands submitted its midterm report on March 1, 2018 to ACCJC. The midterm report describes actions taken in response to the issues and actionable plans identified in CMI’s January 8, 2015 Report on the Comprehensive Self-Evaluation.
On September 15, 2017 the College of the Marshall Islands (CMI) hosted the second ever Alumni Dinner at the MIR Pool Side, catering to over 200 alumnus and friends of the College. This milestone event is one in a series of events designed to celebrate CMI’s 25th Anniversary.
