Residence Hall

The Residential Life Program mission is to provide for a conducive, safe, and collegial learning environment and promote academic success, cultural awareness, and life skills to residents.

The Residence Halls are designed to be residences in which students can study, mature, and acquire lasting friendship. The diversity of people, values, and lifestyles establishes a positive environment in which residents further their educational development.

There are two residential halls at the main campus at Uliga; Enra and Kumit.  In the Uliga Residence Halls students are able to use the facilities on campus which includes:

  • Computer Lab to work on their academic studies
  • Volleyball for playing games with their friends
  • Basketball court
  • Fitness Center and many more!

Our other residence campus is located towards the other end of Majuro, CMI Arrak campus. We have two residential halls to occupy either male and female residents each semester. The students occupying this space are dorm residents that are considered “continuing” students.

  • Each room can accommodate a maximum of 4 occupants, depending on the number of students we have per semester.
  • Each hall includes rooms with a bathroom, and one room that can accommodate a total of 6 students that share a community bathroom and shower.
  • The campus offers a cafeteria that serves all three meals per day, spacious lounge area, workshop space with a pull up screen and white board.
  • Other areas on campus include a computer lab, a community library with computers installed for the community to utilize for online projects or studies.
  • We have our own campus nurse who is on call 24/7 for emergency cases.
  • Our Security department staff is on 24/7 for safety & security purposes.
  • Both the Director of Arrak and Residential Coordinator also live on campus to monitor and attend for the residents throughout the entire semesters.
