All maritime students are required to pass all courses to move to the next semester with a C or better.  If not, the student will need to repeat the courses.  All our students need to complete high school or Adult Basic Education (ABE).  The Maritime Courses are ACCJC/WASC approved and students can use the Pell Grant to pay course tuition and fees, pay for food, books, and stay in our Dorms for the training.  If you want to travel and become a Captain or Chief Engineer on a ship. Come JOIN US.  If you decide to change professions, you can work at MEC fixing engines that provide power to Majuro or elsewhere.  You can also teach at the CMI Maritime Schools and teach the next generation of Seafarers.
