Unit Mission Statement

The Human Resources Department and the Human Resource Committee are committed to working strategically with the diverse College community in identifying and responding to its changing needs. We will provide leadership and guidance in the development, implementation, and equitable administration of policies and procedures, thus fostering a positive work environment.

Human Resource Staff will:

  • serve its customers and stakeholders with respect, understanding, caring, and fairness.
  • establish trust and confidence by addressing requests, questions, and concerns with consistency and equity.
  • pursue excellence in all of their endeavors.
  • use a team-oriented, proactive approach to examining issues and resolving concerns.

Performance Management

At CMI Performance Management is recognized as the process of creating a work environment or setting in which all CMI employees are enabled to perform to the best of their abilities. It is a whole work system that begins when a job is defined and an employee hired and ends when that employee leaves CMI. Employees are categorized into two groups Faculty and Non-faculty. Performance Cycle for Faculty follow the Academic Year and for Non-faculty it is the Fiscal Year.
