FAFSA and Tuition

Greetings to all CMI Students,

As you navigate your academic journey as a first time or returning CMI student this semester, CMI would like to kindly remind all students who plan to register for the Spring 2025 semester of the following important matters:

  1. FAFSA Application:
If you haven’t already done so, please make sure to complete your online FAFSA application for School Year 2024-2025 as soon as possible. This is essential for determining your financial aid eligibility and award amount. Our Financial Aid Office (FAO) is available to assist you with any questions or issues you may encounter during this process. By completing your FAFSA early, you ensure that any potential financial aid can be processed in time for the next semester. Don’t delay—visit the FAO for personalized support, whether it’s assistance with filling out the application or understanding which documents you need to submit.
  2. Explore Financial Aid Programs:
If you’re unsure about the financial assistance programs available to you, this is a great time to visit the FAO. In addition to FAFSA-related aid, there are several other financial assistance programs, including scholarships, grants, and the Federal Work Study Program. The FAO staff is ready to guide you through your options and help you maximize your financial support. Even if you’ve never applied for aid before, stop by to see how we can assist you.
  3. Clear Your Tuition and Fees:
All students must ensure that their tuition and fees are cleared before the end of the Fall 2024 semester. You can work with the Business Office to review your account and settle any outstanding balances. Timely payment will ensure that you’re ready to register for Spring 2025 without any issues.
  4. Outstanding Balances and Registration Hold:
Please be aware that students with unpaid balances will not be allowed to register for Spring 2025 classes. If you have any outstanding amounts on your account, now is the time to resolve them to avoid registration holds. Contact the Business Office for assistance in clearing your balance or setting up a payment plan if needed.

By taking care of these requirements early, you’ll ensure a smooth registration process and be able to focus on your academic success in the upcoming semester.

If you need assistance or have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to the Financial Aid Office or the Business Office. We are here to support you in any way we can.

Thank you for your attention to these important matters.
