Counseling & TRACC (Tilmaake Resource and Career Center) offer a variety of appropriate services that help overcome obstacles that get in the way to hinder student’s progress and success.
We promote friendly and healthy spaces that enhances students’ academic and personal growth as we strive for excellence in the areas of academic field, personal field and career and transfer pathway.
Ultimately, our goal is to ensure that the counselling program accommodates students’ needs to ensure successful completion of their studies and fulfilling their future aspirations.
Services
Personal Counseling
We advice on personal or relationship issues affecting student’s success, studies or graduation.
Workshops and Seminars
We run workshops and seminars on areas of emotional health, substance abuse, relationships & learning strategies.
Academic Counseling
We also provide Academic counseling based on students’ academic performance.
For Educational advising, we help identify and advice students on bachelor’s degree opportunities and work with faculty to identify mentoring, tutorial and transfer opportunities.
Confidentiality
We have an open door policy but we uphold “counselor-client confidentiality”. Meaning everything you talked about with the counselors remain confidential.

The staff only comes in at 10am only on the scheduled day. Other than that, staff comes in 8:00am-5:00Pm.
