CMI – Maritime Vocational Training Center instructors John S. Villi and Edward Adiniwin with Arrak Director Jessio Latrick met with Marshall Islands Shipping, plus two Marine Engineers from Germany. The engineers Sascha Strasser and Siegfield. They stated that they are interested in Sustainable Sea Transportation. With funding from Germany Ministry of Environmental Affairs they would develop an experimental vesset 35 to 40 meters long and carry 2 to 3 tons of cargo. On these ships they will be testing solar panels and other instruments. They wanted to see if we can train their crew and captain.
