Are you ready to ride the WAVES of education to a better tomorrow? Workforce, Adult, and Vocational Education Services offers programs that build employable skills. If you don’t have a job, we can help you gain the skills to find one. We also help employed people do their jobs better or find new opportunities.
WAVES replaces Adult and Continuing Education. This new name represents the college’s renewed commitment to workforce development and career-oriented training. The high school equivalency program (Adult Basic Education), Youth Corps, and the DE Centers remain key parts of WAVES. But the division has a bigger mission.
If you want to learn new skills, or if you are an employer seeking training for your existing workforce, please contact WAVES at 625-4803 or contact the Dean of WAVES, Rigieta Lord.
