CMI CRE Land-Grant visited communities of Wōtje and Wōdmeej

After a couple of meetings with Honorable Mayor Joe Hanchor and several key council and traditional leaders from Wōtje atoll, the CMI CRE Land-Grant visited 2 communities (Wōtje and Wōdmeej) as well as 2 schools (NIHS and CMI Wōtje Center) and provided knowledge-based as well as project-based training in the following areas: organic composting, cultivating salt-tolerant sweet potato, salt-tolerant tropical pineapples, composting of invasive seaweed, diabetes/hypertension and how to prevent or control, nutrition, food safety and healthy local food demonstrations.
