The College of Marshall Islands submitted its midterm report on March 1, 2018 to ACCJC. The midterm report describes actions taken in response to the issues and actionable plans identified in CMI’s January 8, 2015 Report on the Comprehensive Self-Evaluation. Visiting Team Recommendations from the March 10-13, 2015 site visit and the April 18, 2016 ACCJC action letter regarding CMI’s failure to comply with Eligibility Requirement 21 are briefly addressed with reference to the CMI Follow-Up Report to ACCJC 2016. After the follow up report was reviewed, the Commission in its February 8, 2017 ACCJC action letter, took action to remove Warning and explicitly indicated that the College’s accredit status continues.
Similar to the positive actions taken with the College’s follow up report, ACCJC accepted CMI’s midterm report as well and commends CMI’s “evident achievements… as it continues its efforts in the best interests of its students”. See the Commission’s June 13, 2018 Action Letter to CMI.
