📢 Free 4G Load for Students Continues in 2025!
Dear CMI Students,
The College of the Marshall Islands (CMI) is excited to welcome all students to Spring 2025. We are thrilled to announce that, through funding provided by the Broadband Access for Remote Learning Opportunities and Training Program (BARLO) Grant, funded through the U.S. Commerce Department’s National Telecommunications and Information Administration, CMI will continue to provide a FREE 4G data load to all students for the semester.
This initiative, which began in 2023, is part of our unwavering commitment to providing students with access to essential resources. By offering a free 4G data load every semester, we aim to support your academic journey and help you succeed.

💡 How to Avail:
Visit MINTA (Marshall Islands National Telecommunication Authority):
Head to the MINTA office and look for Rina Debrum or Shunty Tartios to claim your free 4G load.
Eligibility:
The CMI IT team provided the list of enrolled/active students to NTA at the beginning of the semester. This benefit is available every month as long as you are an active student at CMI. Ensure your student status is up-to-date before visiting NTA.
Stay Connected:
Students are responsible for purchasing their own devices equipped with a 4G SIM card or e-SIM. The College of the Marshall Islands (CMI) will provide the 4G data load for students’ personal devices. To receive the 4G data, ensure your device has a compatible SIM or e-SIM and present your CMI student ID at the NTA customer service counter for verification.
