Computer Level 4

Provides an introduction to basic computer vocabulary and use. Offers lessons in keyboarding skills, file management, electronic communications and the use of virtual learning classrooms. Emphasizes on using basic computing resources to support learning across courses.

Course Outcomes 

A. General Learning Outcomes, the student will: 

• Recognize computer terminology
• Keyboard with speed and accuracy
• Organize information via software
• Create electronic documents

B. Student Learning Outcomes 

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

• Demonstrate familiarity in computer vocabulary and use.
• Type 20 or more adjusted words and numbers per minute.
• Use computer software to organize information and for communication
• Develop electronic documents.
