The Department of Liberal Arts at CMI provides a program for students who wish to gain exposure to the humanities and the social sciences. The flexibility of the program also allows each student to focus on a concentration of their choice, giving CMI Liberal Arts students the opportunity to shape their education according to their interests.

The Department of Liberal Arts offers an Associate of Arts (A.A.) Degree. Our department prepares students with the necessary skills to continue their education and pursue a four year degree. Our program is designed to integrate an interdisciplinary core of studies with a specialization of courses for those who wish a specialization. Besides learning skills such as communication and analysis,  students in this department are encouraged to specialize in different fields of their interests – such as Business, Information Technology, English, Mathematics, Marine Science, and Social Science.

Along with our A.A. Degree, we also award a Certificate of Completion in Counseling.
