Accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges (ACCJC), Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), the College of the Marshall Islands offers several associate degrees and certificate programs, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in education. CMI programs are designed to launch graduates into the workforce with the education, training, skills, attitudes and work ethics necessary to start a career, or to provide you with a solid foundation for transfer to further higher education. Academic Year 2020-2021 promises to be one of continued improvement and innovation. It is the first year of implementation of the CMI’s ambitious Strategic Plan (2019 – 2023) – Bujen Kollejar. This includes a new and exciting student orientation to college education, the greater use of the tools of technology for online, face-to-face and hybrid learning and teaching, a fresh focus on career education, and a stronger commitment to quality academic and counselling support – all aimed to ensure higher levels of student success.
