Institutional Research

The Institutional Research Office is a unit of the Integrity and Institutional Effectiveness arm of the college.  It is primarily responsible for the collection, preparation, cleanup and analysis of statistical data related to students, faculty, staff, college services and programs and other college related data.  

Its Mission and Area Unit Outcomes specify the unit's essential functions.  Statistical information is regularly published in fact books. Institutional data reports that address specific areas of interest to the college are also available.   Annually, the Institutional Research Office publishes its assessment and plans through its Program Review Report.  Here is the contact information if you need more information or assistance.



The College of the Marshall Islands Institutional Research Office collects and manages data to provide information with in-depth analyses in support of program reviews, decision making and policy making and to fulfill mandatory reporting requirements.


Area Unit Outcomes

Through the services of IR, the student will:

  1. Be able to securely and effectively use the iNavigator Student Information System and other student related information systems
  2. Be able to avail of Title IV funds and other grants by ensuring that accurate and timely institutional data are submitted for mandatory reports
  3. Be provided with quality instruction and services brought about by data driven assessments and program reviews.
  4. Have access to complete and up to date college information through the college official online sites and by publishing reports
